Luminis 5 has been available for a year and Luminis 4 had always supported portlets for some time before that. This is an opportunity for developers from all over to discuss what they are doing with respect to custom portlet development. What tools are they using? What technologies are they using? What sort of portlets are being developed for the schools? How can we use the Commons and perhaps even the Community Source Initiative to work together and share portlets of interest to everyone. Is anyone taking advantage of the Portlet 2.0 features? What about frameworks and other cool buzzwords - ORM, IoC, AOP, AJAX, JSF, and/or dynamic languages like Groovy/Grails.
