Description
St. Mary's University, founded in 1852 by Marianist brothers and priests, is the first institution of higher learning in San Antonio and the oldest Catholic university in Texas and the Southwest. Personal attention and powerful academic programs have made St. Mary's, located on 135 acres northwest of downtown San Antonio, a nationally recognized liberal arts institution. With a diverse student population of nearly 4,000 of all faiths and backgrounds, St. Mary's is home to five schools.
Fall 2011 marks the first activation of a wait list in the history of undergraduate enrollment confirmation processing. Many factors contributed to the rising enrollment confirmations and certainly included was the development work leveraging the Luminis and Banner services. The online experience of the enrollment confirmation package serviced students in the area of Housing, Financial Assistance, Health Center Services, Deposits, and enrollment confirmation. A strategic concept affording outcomes to include improved efficiency in business process, data entry and validation, and interdepartmental communications.
