Over the past six years, Fiscal Services at George Mason University has become increasingly automated using UC4s Applications Manager. From fee assessment to nightly processing of student financial aid refunds; from hourly hold processing to feed to finance process flows; from a variety of check runs to nightly/weekly/monthly audit reports distributions; Masons Fiscal Services relies on Applications Manager to keep our business running. This presentation will cover how our office takes advantage of Application Manager with a variety of real world examples using AM #subvars, conditions, jobs and process flows. The AM implementation and support agreement between ITU and Functional Office Staff will be covered. As Mason recently upgraded to Applications Manager V8, the upgrade process and what new features we are now using will also be highlighted.
