At Southern Illinois University we faced a challenge when our financial staff requested that we provide information about our pledge revenue as it appeared at a specific point in time. In this session you will learn how we solved the problem by referencing data in Advance's pledge and gift tables (and their respective reversal tables) to create reports as they would have appeared on any given day. This approach helped us to reconcile our pledge data with the information in our financial accounting system, assess past due balances and bad debt, project future revenue, and comply with FASB/GASB/auditor requirements.
