Description
Florida Tech has taken the Change of Major Process from a paper form to an electronic, paperless workflow. The process begins with a custom Banner Self-Service form where the students can view their current major and enter the new major they are requesting. Once the form is completed in Self-Service, Evisions generates a PDF of the document and it is indexed into Banner Document Management. A Workflow kicks off and routes the document through a dynamic approval queue. This approval queue is based on Roles as well as directed to specific users depending on the requested major. Along the way the Student or a Faculty member can view the progress of the request in Self-Service through a status page.
