Are you wondering what is involved with setting up the Fixed Asset Module? This session will review how to set up the various validation tables 8 in all, what adjustments are needed on FTMFUND, FTMACCT, FTMLOCN, FTMDEPR and FOASYSC to use Banner Fixed Assets. We will briefly review the Banner supplied reports within Fixed Assets and what fields to key in on when designing your own fixed asset reports for use at your institution. New College of Florida brought up the fixed asset module 5 years ago. As a small school with limited resources we are utilizing this module in the vanilla state. If time permits we will review the capitalization process of FFPOEXT, FFAFEDL, FFAMAST and how to make Fixed Asset Adjustments. This session is intended for the functional or technical user that is the individual(s) responsible for implementing the Fixed Asset module. Knowledge of chart of account structure is assumed, specifically as it relates to funds, organizations, assets, and equity.
