St. John's University performed a major redesign of the Gift Processing Department by which we instituted a process of scanning all incoming cash and credit card gifts before they are processed. In this presentation will also describe our redesigned process for automated electronic bank deposit of all checks received. The new processes have reduced manual paper work, improved bank deposit times, improved the efficiency and timeliness of all Gift Processing activities and has reduced errors. The new scanning process was implemented with the use of Extender and Cash Pro (Bank of America) for automatic remote deposit.
