Have you ever wondered what to do with your SmartCall system during the off season when telethon calling is completed?
Queens University has found a way to initiate a strategy to make personal contact with over 5,000 alumni and to increase their gift planning prospect pool, confirm new estate gifts, and create an environment for conversations to happen.
We call this the Legacy Calling Program. Using the SmartCall survey component will identify prospects that have left a legacy gift to your institution through their estate plans that you were not aware of.
It will make prospects think about legacy giving for future conversations and see the value of gift planning. It will educate prospects who have never heard about legacy giving.
You will receive updated information from Alumni to keep your database up to date. The Legacy program benefits the Gift Planning program, your Annual Giving program and the institution as a whole. Anytime you can communicate with Alumni to give information and answer questions is a win win situation.
