This session will review how Nova Southeastern University (NSU) centralized its transfer evaluation services to expedite the evaluation of transfer credits for prospective students. NSU began approximately two years ago with a blank Banner database of articulated course equivalencies and now has a database of over 175,000 courses from over 1,500 institutions. Whereas the prior transfer process required students to request an evaluation of prior coursework, prospective students now are identified and have articulation award letters in as few as two days. Through the utilization of reports, workflows, and targeted student communications, a process that was once disjointed and completely manual has been transformed to one that ensures superior service.
