This session will go over the basics of developing JSR 286 portlets and will add Luminis Platform 5 specific API calls into the mix. This session will describe the LP5 delegated service architecture and how to use Spring to inject delegated services into your portlets. It will briefly discuss the work done with the Banner and BDMS portlets and how they make use of the delegated services. The presentation will discuss the security reasons behind the architecture and what this means to your portlet.
