Using MS Access with Power-Up to Streamline the Enrollment Process (1415)
For institutions that utilize a third-party admissions software package who wish to automate and streamline the process of entering either inquiries or applicants into their PowerCAMPUS database. Mount Union has developed a MS Access module that we use in unison with the PowerUP tool to import Applicants into the Admissions Module. MS Access is used to prep the data so that errors are not received when processing the file through PowerUP.
The University of Mount Union receives approximately 2000 applications for admission each fall semester through this process. Target audience should be IT oriented staff or an Admissions "Super-user."
