Financial Aid functional users often need custom reports and rely heavily on IT staff to develop them. However, with limited resources in every area of academia, there is a growing need for the functional user to have the tools needed to do their own ad hoc reporting. By combining existing Banner components such as variables, population selections, and letter generation, functional users can readily create ad hoc reports. This session will begin with an overview of the building blocks and then walk users through the process of developing an ad hoc report. Additionally, we will cover initial set-up IT staff can utilize to create and maintain new building blocks for functional users.
