Track: Recruiting and Admissions

Educatsional Expertise   Focus: Banner Relationship Management
Program Code: 1251
LEAD PRESENTER / PANEL ORGANIZER / BOF LEADER :

Description
Probability Ratings are a way to determine which prospective students in your database are most likely to enroll at your institution, and this allows you to segment and target your recruitment efforts to make them more productive. Using the BRM 'Probability Ratings' functionality, Northwestern College-MN has developed recruitment systems that change the number and type of communications that are sent based on the recruit's probability rating, and they also use the probability rating to direct staff to make personal contacts with targeted recruits.

Topics that will be covered in this session are:
* Why use Probability Ratings - what are the benefits?
* How to decide which probability factors to include in your Probability Model and what weight to give each factor
* How to build the ratings in BRM.
* How your Admissions staff can use the Probability Ratings in 'real life' to help you achieve your recruitment goals.

If you are treating all of your prospective students the same, your Admissions staff doesn't know where to begin working with the thousands of names in your database, or you want to be more effective and efficient in your recruitment work, this
session is for you.
