We have created a simple custom page that looks up the students current assigned advisor and presents it to them, along with a short form to send an email message to the Advisor.
Also we have a Contact Your Instructors page as well. it presents the student with a list of their instructors from their scheduled classes and allows them to select one or more to send a short email message to them.
Both of these pages speed and ease contacting advisors and instructors for the students.
