Have you ever wished that you could add just a little bit more data to a Banner form without customizations? The Supplemental Data Engine (SDE) functionality will allow you to add data to an existing form in Banner. The best part is, the setup can be accomplished for the most part by functional personnel, and you can report on the data collected. Ivy Tech Community College has used SDEs to collect additional data on various subsets of our population. We have even been able to validate the data against a table we built.
