The Automated Hold/Release Process is the easiest way to place delinquent accounts on hold and release paid accounts without individually going into SOAHOLD and manually releasing the hold. The end-user sets it up once and uses it over and over again. This session is designed to show the end-user how it all works. This session walks through (screen by screen, process by process) the actual set-up and processing on Banner forms.
Even though this process exist in the AR menu Registration and other offices can benefit from the auto-hold process by taking advantage of the population selection feature of the process. This session will touch on that with examples for the users to take back to their institutions.
