Description
Family interactions can always be challenging. However, when the family members have overexcitabilities (OEs) and not necessarily the same ones, effectively managing family interactions can be extremely challenging. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the different OEs and recommendations for how to effectively manage family interactions based on the authors personal experiences as individuals with OEs within families whose members also have OEs, but not necessarily the same ones. Research is provided that supports these recommendations and various resources are provided as things to consider for families trying to get over their OEs.
