Description
Presenters will introduce participants to Lev Vygotsky's theory of imagination and will discuss the implications of this theory for Early Childhood Education. Using classroom examples, presenters will demonstrate the impact of various instructional practices and specifically teachers' support of mature make-believe play on the development of imagination in young children.
