Description
The modern work force is ever diversifying. However, there still remain a number of institutions in this country that have student bodies comprised of one particular segment of the population, be it by gender, religion, race, or disability. These students often face unique challenges in their career development and transition into the workplace. In this interactive session, a panel of career services professionals focused on the aforementioned populations will share best practices on helping ready these students for successfully transitioning into life after college. Additionally, panelists will address innovative ways of marketing their students to employers. Institutions serving any and all underrepresented groups can benefit from this presentation.
