Description
People with disabilities are an underused source of talent for employers. More and more students with disabilities are graduating from community colleges, universities, graduate schools, and professional programs with increasing levels of experience, talent, and expectations for work force participation. Yet employers still report having difficulty finding candidates with disabilities to meet their needs. This interactive workshop will showcase employers who have successful strategies for increasing their diversity and productivity by hiring, accommodating, retaining, and advancing people with disabilities in their workplace. We will also offer valuable tools, information, and resources to help you find these talented workers and incorporate them into your workplace.
