Gayle Cotchen earned her bachelors and non-traditional Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at Duquesne University. Gayle also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Her current practice site is Magee-Womens Hospital of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where she has been a Lead Pharmacist since 2005. Gayle is a member of the pharmaceutical waste team and actively participating in expansion of the RCRA pilot program at UPMC. Her professional interests are regulatory, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy issues. She is the acute care institutional member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.

Elaine received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia. She completed her PGY1-PGY2 combined residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Health Systems Pharmacy Administration along with a Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in Health System Pharmacy Administration. Elaine currently is the Pharmacy Manager of Clinical Services at West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where her primary focus is implementing initiatives related to pharmacy practice model expansion and transitions of care programs. At the time of presentation submission, she was actively involved in leading the pharmaceutical waste team and RCRA program implementation at UPMC. Elaines professional interests include practice model expansion, regulatory affairs, and resident and student development.
