Anna Markel Vaysman,
PharmD, BCPS, Clinical Pharmacist and Assistant Professor,

Dr. Anna Markel Vaysman received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2007. Following graduation, she went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice Residency Program, with a focus in Ambulatory Care at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana.
Currently, Dr. Markel Vaysman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, as well as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Medication Therapy Management Clinic in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Certified Asthma Educator.
Dr. Markel Vaysmans areas of interest are medication therapy management, diabetes, and pulmonary disease. Her primary research focus has been on comprehensive Medication Therapy Management. Dr. Markel Vaysman has published papers in peer-reviewed journals related on these topics. She has also been a features speaker at local pharmacy organizations, and recently delivered a poster presentation at a national pharmacy organization.

Mansi Shah,
PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist and Assistant Professor,
University of Illinois
Dr. Mansi Shah received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2010. Upon graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
Since residency, she has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Dr. Shah is also a Clinical Pharmacist in Ambulatory Care at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. Her primary site is the Medication Therapy Management Clinic.
Dr. Shah's current research interest is improving transitional care from the inpatient to outpatient setting, as well as evaluating the impact of a pharmacist on diabetes and medication therapy management. She has published a abstract and paper in peer-reviewed journals related to these topics.

Jessica Tilton,
PharmD, BCACP, Clinical Pharmacist and Assistant Professor,
University of Illinois
Dr. Jessica J. Tilton received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2002. Subsequently, she completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System (UI Health).
Since residency she has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Dr. Tilton is also a Clinical Pharmacist in Ambulatory Care at UI Health. Her primary site is the Medication Therapy Management Clinic, where she is the operations manager. Additionally, she works in the Electrophysiology Clinic.
Dr. Tilton's current research interests include evaluating the global impact of a pharmacist's intervention on medication adherence and the adverse effects of antiarrhythmic medications. She has published book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals related to these topics. Dr. Tilton has been a featured speaker nationally and internationally for pharmacy and nursing organizations.
