Nicole Clark, PharmD, BCPS, Pharmacy Clinical Manager, Hallmark Health System Inc.
Nicole J. Clark PharmD, BCPS graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2004 and became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2008. Dr. Clark is currently the System Pharmacy Clinical Manager and Residency Program Director at Hallmark Health System (Melrose Wakefield Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital). She transitioned to the clinical manager role after working at Hallmark as the Unit Based Pharmacist Coordinator specializing in critical care. As clinical manager Dr. Clark is responsible for directing development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services. She also facilitates the development and implementation of treatment guidelines, protocols, cost-savings initiatives, formulary changes and critical pathways. Dr. Clark currently precepts pharmacy students and is very involved in community outreach activities. She is the Chair of the Massachusetts Society of Health System Pharmacists Annual Meeting Committee, a 2011 American Society of Health System Pharmacists Foundation Pharmacy Leadership Academy Participant, is currently enrolled in the Masters and Health Administration Program at Simmons College and is a peer reviewer for American Journal of Health System Pharmacists.
Jeanne Ezell, MS, BS, Director of Pharmacy, Blount Memorial Hospital
Jeanne Ezell has been Director of Pharmacy at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee for over 20 years, and Director of the PGY-1 Residency Program since its implementation in 2006. She previously was Director of Pharmacy and the Residency/ Fellowship Program at Western Missouri Mental Health Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Ezell completed a Masters in Hospital Pharmacy and Residency Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is also a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. Dr. Ezell has been very active in professional organizations, serving as President of the Kansas City Society of Health System Pharmacists, Chairman of the ASHP Council on Professional Affairs, and President of the Tennessee Society of Health System Pharmacists. Throughout her career, Dr. Ezell has focused on medication safety, and has made many presentations at state and national meetings on the use of technology and process improvements for prevention of adverse drug events. Dr. Ezell received the Knoxville Business Journal Health Care Hero Award in 2012, Harold N. Godwin Leadership Legacy Award in 2011, Tom C. Sharp 2007 Tennessee Pharmacist of the Year Award and the Tennessee Hospital Pharmacist of the Year Award in 2001.
