David Taber,
PharmD, BCPS, Director of Clinical Research,
Division of Transplant Surgery, Medical University of South Carolina
Dr. Taber is currently the director of clinical research within the Division of Transplant Surgery and the Medical University of South Carolina; he has been working in the field of solid organ transplant for over 10 years and has been the residency program director for the PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Residency Program for the past 5 years. Dr. Taber's research interests include studying methods to optimize medication use and safety within transplant recipients. He has published over 30 manuscripts and 70 abstracts in this area and is currently a principle investigator or Co-PI for several large research grants. Dr. Taber earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from SUNY Buffalo in 1996 and his Pharm.D. from MUSC in 1999. He completed specialized residency training in solid organ transplantation from UNC Chapel Hill in 2000. Dr. Taber has been a practicing board certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 2000.

Eric Tichy,
PharmD, BCPS, Senior Clinical Pharmacy Specialist,
Yale-New Haven Hospital
Dr Tichy is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and trained in pharmacy practice at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is board-certified in pharmacotherapy. He holds adjunct faculty appointments from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy. He is also a member of the heart, kidney, and liver transplant teams at Yale-New Haven Transplantation Center (YNHTC) and serves as Director of the YNHTC Transplant Pharmacy Residency.
Dr Tichy is an established leader in clinical pharmacy and transplantation. He has been involved several projects that have helped advance pharmacy practice in the field of transplantation and has focused efforts on the training and education of new practitioners from multiple disciplines.
Finally, Dr Tichy has served in leadership roles, both locally and nationally, with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacy, and the American Society of Transplantation.
