Brent Fox,
PharmD, PhD, Associate Professor,
Auburn University
Brent I. Fox is originally from Daphne, Alabama, a bay community outside of Mobile, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. After working in the health-system software development industry as a pharmacy specialist, he returned to Auburn where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree, serving as a Fellow with the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education. Dr. Fox spent the next two years as an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Center for Pharmacy Informatics at Shenandoah University's Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy. He subsequently returned to the Harrison School of Pharmacy where he served as the Assistant to the Dean for Educational Technology. In this role, Dr. Fox led the evaluation, selection, implementation, training, and monitoring of information technologies to support the School's education, research, and outreach missions. In his current role as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Care Systems, Dr. Fox's teaching, research, and outreach activities are focused on the optimal use of healthcare information technology to improve medication-related outcomes. Dr. Fox is also very active in several national professional associations. He has coauthored two texts on informatics, both published by the American Pharmacists Association.

Kevin currently serves as an Area Vice President for consulting within the McKesson Pharmaceutical organization. He has held positions in both logistics and information technology business units at McKesson since joining the company in 1998. Kevin received his degree in Pharmacy as well as a Masters in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He has over 34 years of experience in pharmacy and healthcare services operations that span across the care continuum and include acute care, long term care, home health care, physician practice management, medical imaging and supply chain logistics. He was a pharmacy subject matter consultant for 15 years in which he had the opportunity to visit and work with hundreds of hospital pharmacies across the continental US and Puerto Rico. He speaks frequently on the ARRA and the impact of technology on hospital pharmacy practice and the medication use process. Kevin is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and participates in the ASHP Section on Pharmacy Informatics and Technology and is a member of the Section Advisory Group for Pharmacy Operations Automation.

Dr. Stevenson received his undergraduate and PharmD degrees from Wayne State University He previously served as Director of Pharmacy Services at West Virginia University Hospitals and the Executive Director of Pharmacy Services at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. He received the Pharmacist of the Year award by both the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Michigan Pharmacists Association. He received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Wayne State University Pharmacy Alumni Association and the Joseph Oddis Leadership Award by MSHP. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and was the recipient of the 2010 John W. Webb Lecture Award. His research interests are in practice management, pharmacoeconomics, health informatics, and medication safety.

Dennis Tribble,

Dr. Tribble is a pharmacist and a software engineer. He received his Pharm. D. from University of the Pacific in 1974, completed an ASHP residency in 1975, and practiced pharmacy in Illinois from 1975-1986, developing his first pharmacy system in 1981, serving as ICHP president in 1982 and developing and teaching a Nursing pharmacology course.
In 1986, Dr. Tribble transitioned to industry, spending 8 years in product development with a hospital information system before moving to pharmacy compounding devices in 1994. He is the inventor of record on two pharmacy automated products, the holder of 19 patents in pharmacy automation, the past chairman of the Executive Committee of the Section on Pharmacy Informatics and Technology, blogs on technology subjects for ASHP Connect, serves on the Editorial Board for AJPH (and as a reviewer of articles on technology) and a technology resource to the ASHP Research and Education Foundation.
Dr. Tribble is the author of several articles on pharmacy automation, as well as an author the briefing paper on technology for the Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative.
