Megan Corrigan,

Dr. Corrigan completed her undergraduate education at Benedictine University in 2002. Following her undergraduate education, she completed her doctorate in pharmacy at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2006. After her education, Dr. Corrigan completed a PGY1 Residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois followed by a PGY2 Residency in Emergency Medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital Detroit, Michigan. Following her training, Dr. Corrigan began Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Services in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She has been in her current position for over four years. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Corrigan precepts pharmacy students and PGY1 residents. She is actively involved in DOCARE and attends international mission trips as well as remaining engaged in the Alumni Association at Midwestern University. Dr. Corrigan's specific areas of interest in Emergency Medicine include disaster preparedness and pre-hospital care of emergency patients. She works closely with the City of Chicago and her region to ensure excellent care to these patients. Dr. Corrigan is a member of the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists Advisory Group on Emergency Care and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

Dr. Thomas received his doctor of pharmacy and bachelor of education degrees from the University of Arizona in 2001 and 1997 respectively. He completed his post-doctoral residency training at the Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson. He spent seven years working as a clinical pharmacist in northern Michigan where he helped establish a successful clinical pharmacy practice in the emergency department. Dr. Thomas joined the faculty at South University School of Pharmacy in Savannah, Georgia in 2009 where he teaches emergency medicine and critical care topics. He maintains a practice site in the emergency department within the St. Josephs/ Candler Health-System. He serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students and post graduate year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residents. Dr. Thomas has authored more than 10 articles and book chapters and has presented more than 30 continuing education programs at local, state, and national pharmacy meetings. He is active in national pharmacy organizations in the area of emergency pharmacy. He is a member of the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists Advisory Group on Emergency Care and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
