Heidi Bragg,

Heidi Bragg serves as Director of Regulatory Compliance for the Pharmacy Solutions business of Cardinal Health. As Director of Regulatory Compliance, her responsibilities include monitoring licenses and permits, identifying best regulatory practices, implementing processes to minimize drug diversion, educating Cardinal Health employees and clients on regulatory issues and driving compliance with federal regulations in Cardinal Health managed facilities. Heidi has prior experience as a retail pharmacist and hospital pharmacist. She was employed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a compliance officer where she conducted inspections and investigations of pharmacies. Heidi has more than 18 years of experience in health care.

Kelly helped lead the initiative to develop a remote medication order processing service for Cardinal Health at a national level in 2003 that included co-coordinating a multi-disciplinary team of professional, regulatory, technology and legal staff. She has also presented to boards of pharmacy to discuss licensure requirements for the remote medication order processing service in several states and has assisted boards to draft rules specific to remote order entry. She participated with ASHP to co-author guidelines on Remote Medication Order Processing. For the past nine years, she has worked with operational, clinical, quality and technology teams across 8 pharmacy service centers providing remote pharmacy services to over 300 hospitals. Her dedication to patient safety drives the importance of providing pharmacy and nursing leaders remote pharmacy alternatives with guidelines to consider to promote a seamless operation between on-site and remote pharmacy personnel.
