Cedric Terrell, Pharm.D is the District Director, Pharmacy Services at Palomar Health in North County San Diego, CA. His role/ responsibilities include strategic planning, development, implementation, optimizing cost-effective medication-use processes, and appropriate oversight and management of drug utilization. His experience(s) vastly include development and implementation of pharmacy practice services; supervising pharmacy clinical programs, as well as associate professor of pharmacy clinical practice to multiple affiliate colleges of pharmacy. His patient care experience includes emergency medicine, critical care, and internal medicine services.
Dr. Terrell's administrative experience includes: successful transfer of patient care services while assuming operation of an existing 300 bed medical facility, successful project planning and implementation of pharmacy services for two new fully automated medical facilities, strategic planning and development of pharmacy services for an integrated delivery network (IDN), Pharmacy Practice Residency Program design, implementation and accreditation. Additional experiences include: Planning, development, and implementation of Bar-code Medication Administration Process, and Computerized Physician Order Entry; Implementation and optimization of Automated Drug Procurement and distribution systems; and optimizing clinical pharmacy programs.
Dr. Terrell is currently a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacist (ASHP) Section Advisory Group for Pharmacy Practice Management and California Society of Health System Pharmacist (CSHP) Section Advisory Group for Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative(s). He earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy at Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy in Tallahassee, FL.

Mike Wisz delivers consulting to healthcare providers and vendors, leveraging his 20 years of healthcare information technology and medication management experience. He has led multiple projects involving medication management technology for hospitals and health systems. He led a strategy development process for medication management that culminated in a cohesive process improvement and automation plan. Also, he managed a long-term project to oversee the implementation of multiple medication management technologies into a health system, including new construction. In addition, he has led and participated in systems assessment and vendor selection projects. Mike has served in executive roles with an early pioneer in bar code medication administration, Bridge Medical (Cerner), and played key roles with Pyxis (CareFusion) and Nellcor Puritan Bennett (Covidien). Mike was a contributing author to the HIMSS Implementation Guide to Auto-ID and Bar Coding in Healthcare, HIMSS Press, 2009, and to the first edition of this guide published in 2003. In addition, he was lead author of the Neuenschwander Report: To the Bedside 2: An Expanded Review of Bar Code Point of Care Solutions. Mike has been a leading contributor to many industry groups focused on barcode point of care safety, including the HIMSS Auto-ID and Pharmacy Informatics task forces.
