Rachel Chambers is a pharmacy specialist in antimicrobial stewardship and residency program director for the PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Chambers received her PharmD at the University of Michigan and completed a PGY1 residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She completed her PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Jason M. Pogue is an infectious diseases pharmacist at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI. He received his doctor of pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, his PGY-1 training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and his PGY-2 in ID at the University of Michigan. In addition to his clinical practice, he is the director of the infectious diseases PGY-2 at the Detroit Medical Center and does extensive research focusing on Gram-negative resistance.

Molly Steed received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. After completing a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Steed worked as an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist and adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Maryland. Dr. Steed then set off to Wayne State University where she completed an infectious diseases pharmacotherapy research fellowship in the anti-infective research laboratory under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Rybak. She also completed a Graduate Certificate of Public Health Practice at Wayne State University School of Medicine. In 2011, Dr. Steed joined the faculty as an assistant clinical professor in the department of pharmacy practice at The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Dr. Steed's research interests include examination of antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics utilizing in vitro models and therapeutic treatment options for multi-drug resistant organisms.

- Given an individual patient case, develop a rational, cost effective antimicrobial regimen for the management of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteremia.
- Interpret the literature comparing carbapenems and non-carbapenem beta-lactams for the treatment of ESBL producing enterobacteriaceae.
