Dr. Harvey obtained his BS Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). He completed subsequent training at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and School of Pharmacy and specialized in Hematology/Oncology at UNC. Since joining Emory, he has led the Phase I Clinical Trials Section in shepherding first-in-human compounds, investigator-initiated studies, and cooperative group trials in patients with refractory solid tumor and hematologic malignancies.

Lindsey Poppe,

Lindsey Poppe earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wyoming in 2009. She completed a two-year pharmacy residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of North Carolina Hospitals while obtaining her Masters degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She is currently the Clinical Manager of the Oncology Service Line and Emergency Department Services at UNC Hospitals and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She maintains professional development and advocacy through involvement in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association.

Scott Savage,
PharmD, MS, Assistant Director of Pharmacy,
University of North Carolina Health Care
Dr. Savage received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Masters degree with a PGY2 residency certificate in Health System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University Medical Center and The OSU College of Pharmacy. Currently, Scott serves as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy over the UNC Ambulatory Pharmacy Care Network, Oncology, Emergency Department and Investigational Drug Service. Prior to joining UNC, Scott served in leadership and management roles in other academic medical centers and a community based hospital. He is an active member of NCAP, ASHP, ACCP, and NCPA. He enjoys developing and implementing new approaches to integrating pharmacy services in all facets of patient care. Additionally, he enjoys time at home with his family, UNC and Ohio State sports, and running.

- Delineate patient-oriented and financial-oriented stewardship metrics.
- Develop an appropriate treatment regimen for a hemophilia patient given the patient specific parameters.
- Evaluate the process for multidisciplinary involvement in changing the medication use process of factor products to continuous infusion.
- Recommend reasons for implementing a Factor Stewardship Program.
