Pamela Moore,

Summa Health System
Pamela Moore received her PharmD from Ohio Northern University, completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Summa Health System, and a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pain and Palliative Care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Certified Pain Educator. Pam currently serves as the Clinical Lead Pharmacist for Pain and Palliative Care and Program Director for the PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pain & Palliative Care at Summa. Her responsibilities include the safe and cost-effective management of medications used in the treatment of pain and other symptoms, policy development and adherence, team-based research, quality improvement, and education of pharmacy students and PGY1 residents, medical fellows and pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff members. She is a member of several interdisciplinary teams serving the inpatient acute palliative care unit, inpatient and extended care facility palliative care consult services, palliative care outpatient clinic, home and extended care facility based hospice care and an inpatient chronic pain service. She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Society of Pain Educators, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and the Pain and Palliative Care Practice & Research Network within the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Pam was recently re-appointed to the Section Advisory Group on Pain Management and Palliative Care within ASHPs Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners.

Dr. Kral received her BS and PharmD degrees from The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at The Univeristy of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. She is on the faculty at The University of Iowa Center for Pain Medicine and has been practicing in pain management and consulting in palliative care for 11 years.
