Demetris Butler,
PharmD, Corporate Pharmacy Director,
Dimensions Healthcare System
Demetris Butler, Pharm.D., is the Corporate Pharmacy Director for Dimensions Healthcare System in Cheverly, Maryland. In this position, Dr. Butler provides strategic, financial and administrative oversight for pharmacy services. She is working to integrate Pharmacy practice throughout the health system that is comprised of two hospitals, and several ambulatory practice sites. Dr. Butler has led the organization through the expansion of Pharmacy automation at several facilities and is currently re-designing the pharmacy practice model for the system.
With over 25 years in pharmacy practice, Dr. Butler has extensive practical experience in Pharmacy leadership, clinical program development and project management in various pharmacy settings. She has designed, implemented and managed multiple clinical, distributive and automated pharmacy programs. Her practice experiences include faculty appointments at Howard University College of Pharmacy and the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy. Dr. Butler spent several years as Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Laurel Regional Hospital before joining Clinical Pharmacy Associates, a pharmacy management firm located in Laurel, Maryland. As an associate, she served in many capacities including Clinical Pharmacy Program Director/Manager; ambulatory pharmacy practice director; and hospital Pharmacy Director. She also served as Residency Program Director for three years.
She received her Pharm.D. from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in Stockton, California in 1984 and completed an Administrative Residency in 1985 at Howard University Hospital.

Margaret Clapp, Chief Pharmacy Officer,
Massachusetts General Hospital
Margaret Clapp, Chief Pharmacy Officer of the Massachusetts General Hospital, leads a team of innovative clinical and operational practitioners. Margaret earned her BS (Pharmacy) from the University of Connecticut and completed an ASHP accredited residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned a Master of Science degree at Northeastern University while serving as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Northeastern University teaching two Pharmacy Management courses.
Over the course of her career, Margaret has conducted numerous research projects in operational effectiveness and process improvement and been published in JAMA with Lucian Leape. Margaret has a passion for patient safety and Quality Improvement. She is a Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts.

Greg provides direction and support for VHA Performance Services pharmacy area. He is responsible for helping VHA member health care organizations identify opportunities to improve workflow, utilization of the appropriate skill mix of staff and the optimal use of technology while focusing on best demonstrated medication use processes.
Greg brings more than 40 years of experience in institutional pharmacy practice to his consulting role. Prior to joining VHA, Greg spent 17 years as the Director of Pharmacy at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, a major tertiary teaching hospital managing a diverse staff with a wide variety of service and budgetary expectations. He has experience in long-term care pharmacy consulting and has served as an advisor to pharmaceutical companies, VHA and Novation. Greg received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. He completed a one-year pharmacy practice residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
Greg is a member of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Connecticut Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (CSHP).

Chief Pharmacy Officer and Vice President, Indiana University Health, Indianapolis, IN
As Chief Pharmacy Officer, Mr. Jorgenson's responsibilities include the direction and leadership for all Indiana University Health system pharmacy programs. Inpatient services provide direct pharmacy care for 20 hospitals statewide including Indiana University Medical Center, Riley Childrens Hospital and the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center. Ambulatory programs include a retail pharmacy network, a mail order pharmacy, infusion pharmacies and a variety of ambulatory clinical pharmacy services.
Mr. Jorgenson earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota. He also completed a two year residency in Hospital Pharmacy Administration at United and Children's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has served on editorial and advisory boards for health care providers and industry. He has also been an active member of ASHP, serving on the ASHP Goals Committee, the Commission on Credentialing and the Councils for Legal and Public Affairs and Administrative Affairs and in numerous state affiliated chapter positions. Mr. Jorgenson has authored multiple peer reviewed publications and has provided numerous invited presentations both nationally and internationally.

Bonnie L. Senst is System Director of Pharmacy for Allina Health, and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Senst's 30 years of experience in staff, clinical and managerial roles spans over 100 community and academic medical centers, home infusion, hospice and clinics.
Ms. Senst obtained her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin and M.S. from the University of Minnesota. She has been an active leader in ASHP and MSHP, and has received the MSHP Outstanding Pharmacist, Pfizer Pharmacist of the Year, Peer Recognition Awards and ASHP Fellowship recognition. Her presentations and publications discuss medication use, distribution, residency training, clinical practice, advanced technician roles and medication safety.
