Amanda Brummel,
PharmD, Director, Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Services,
Fairview
Amanda Brummel, PharmD has been working in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) for the past 12 years. She is employed by Fairview Health Services, a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare network. Amanda has built and practiced in multiple clinic practice locations. She has been the clinical supervisor for the MTM department, the MTM Operations & Program Manager, and in 2010 became the Director of Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Services. In this position Amanda works closely with the medical group to ensure pharmacy integration and is responsible for the development & oversite of the MTM program, as well as retail clinical services development. The MTM department includes 24 MTM practitioners in 27 different locations. Amanda has helped to develop & implement multiple MTM employer programs and has worked with multiple payer groups to receive payment for MTM services. Amanda is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of MN. She teaches the elective course, How to Build an MTM Practice. She also co-developed an on-line CE course on building an MTM practice.

Donald Gerhart,

York Hospital/WellSpan Health
Donald Chip Gerhart serves as the Medication Safety Officer as well as the Department of Pharmacys Quality Assessment Manager at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Donald is a 1996 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Mr. Gerhart oversees all of the pharmacys quality auditing and performance improvement activities as well as plays an integral role in ensuring the quality and integrity of the pharmaceuticals dispensed to patients served by the department. In his role at the Medication Safety Officer, Mr. Gerhart works to ensure the highest level of safety surrounding all phases of the medication use process through collaboration within and outside of the Department of Pharmacy.
Mr. Gerhart is a frequent presenter on topics related to medication safety and the establishment of a healthy safety culture in healthcare.

Mark Siska,
RPh, MBA/TM, Assistant Director Informatics & Technology Pharmacy Services,
Mayo Clinic Rochester
Mark Siska is the Assistant Director of Informatics and Technology for Pharmacy Services at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He has been actively engaged in the development, implementation, support & oversight of medication related applications and automation at Mayo Clinic Rochester for 12 years. Mark is the past chair of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists Section of Informatics and Technology and has served or continues to serve on a number Healthcare IT advisory committees and workgroups most recently the Pharmacy e-Health Collaborative. He received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree from the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy in 1980, completed his Hospital Pharmacy Resident training at Mayo Clinic Rochester in 1981and his MBA in technology management in 2007.

Steven Ward,
PharmD, Senior Director, General Manager,
Cerner Corporation
Steven Ward, Pharm.D., Sr. Director and General Manager, EMR Business Unit, Cerner Corporation is responsible for the strategic leadership and solution management of the computerized physician order entry, e-prescribing, nursing, medication administration, and supply chain solutions within the Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) suite.
Mr. Ward leads a team examining the functional needs and workflow support requirements of the closed loop medication process in partnership with current and prospective clients to establish the future direction of these solutions.
Prior to Cerner, Steven served as an Information Systems Pharmacist at University Health Systems of Eastern North Carolina, responsible for the implementation and support of Cerner Millennium PharmNet system in a multi-facility health care system. In addition, Mr. Ward served as a decentralized hospital pharmacist at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina.
Upon graduating from Campbell University School of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, Mr. Ward completed an ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency program at Pitt Country Memorial Hospital in Greenville N.C.
