Wayne Bohenek,
PharmD, MS, Vice President, Care Transformation,
Catholic Health Partners
Dr. Bohenek has significant experience and leadership in creating infrastructure and standardized processes process in large complex health-systems including clinical content for an electronic health record and medication formulary management.
Dr. Bohenek has been instrumental in moving the quality and safety agenda forward in numerous organizations and health-systems. He has a strong interest in operation improvements that further advance quality and patient safety.
In 2002 he took a position of Vice President of Patient Safety and Pharmacy Excellence and in 2008 moved to his current position of Vice President, Care Transformation.

Kevin Marvin,

Kevin Marvin Consulting, LLC
Kevin received the Distinguished Service Award from the Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology in 2008. He is the chair of the ASHP Membership Advisory Committee and Vermont delegate to the ASHP House of Delegates.
Kevin is a fellow of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) where he is a member of the Patient Safety Steering Committee and ePrescribing Task Force. He has also served on JCAHO and AHRQ advisory groups on information technology.
Kevin contributed a chapter for a book on safe use of technology, titled Medication Safety: A Guide for Healthcare Facilities, which was published by ASHP. He also wrote a chapter for a book on ePrescribing for The Informatics Primer, another ASHP publication.
Kevin has been involved in Pharmacy Information systems for 25 years. His health system experience includes University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (9 years), Health Alliance of Cincinnati (4 years), and Fletcher Allen Healthcare, Burlington, Vermont (5 years). Kevin currently is an independent consultant and recently completed a project to install the Eclipsys medication management system at the NIH Clinical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.
Kevin is a Pharmacist and has a M.S. degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Wisconsin. His expertise is in the design, development and implementation of automation and information system tools to support safety, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness in the medication use process.

Susan Mashni,
PharmD, BS, DPD Specialist,
Catholic Health Partners
Dr Mashni joined Catholic Health Partners as the DPD Specialist in early 2010 with the inception of the CHP Formulary Committee. Prior to this, she served as Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Mercy Hospital Anderson, OH, where she started an Anticoagulation clinic, pharmacy services in the CVICU, and outpatient teaching in cardiac rehab.
Prior to that time, she was a clinical pharmacist at Cincy Children's Home Care and Starshine Hospice, as well as the NICU at University of Cincinnati.
Dr Mashni lives in Cincinnati with her husband and three daughters.

Jack Temple,

Univeristy of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics
Jack Temple, is Manager of Information Technology and Medication Use Systems. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina in 2004 and his Masters of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin in 2006. He also completed an ASHP accredited specialty residency in Pharmacy Practice Management from the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. His current practice and research interests include pharmacy operations, technology, and the use of technology to expand clinical practice and improve patient safety.

Kelly Turner,
PharmD, Director Clinical Systems, Pharmacy,
Mercy Hospital
Kelly L. Turner, PharmD. serves Mercy as director pharmacy clinical systems. Mercy has acute health care operations in 4 states, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, including 31 hospitals and 300 outpatient facilities. Dr. Turner has been supporting Mercy's electronic health record initiatives for the past eight years. In 2006, she began leading the design, build, implementation, support and optimization for Epics Willow pharmacy application. Over the past four years she has supported integrated Epic implementations within 24 facilities. Prior to this, she played a key role in launching the Mercy Meds initiative including barcode medication administration implementation, centralized repackaging and pharmaceutical distribution services, automated dispensing cabinetry integration and clinical pharmacy services. Before joining the Mercy ministry in 2002, Dr. Turner practiced as a clinical pharmacist in hospital and pharmaceutical industry settings. She holds a bachelor of pharmacy degree from Drake University and a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky.
