Bert M. Gumeringer, MBA, MS, CHFM is the Director-Facilities Operations & Security Services for Texas Childrens Hospital located in Houston, Texas. Mr. Gumeringer is responsible for Plant Operations and Maintenance, Environmental Services, Patient Escort, Energy Management, Flood Management, Security Services, Parking and Valet Parking Services. Mr. Gumeringer has over twenty three years of healthcare related experience with his last nine years at Texas Childrens Hospital.
Prior to joining Texas Childrens Hospital, Mr. Gumeringer served as the Regional Director of Operations-Western United States for Fluor Corp. and as the Director of Facilities Management at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center-Phoenix, AZ.
Mr. Gumeringer is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM #557) and is the President-Elect for the Texas Association of Healthcare Facility Managers.
