Description
Facilities that have high performance goals require the ability to monitor operations and access to actionable reports that can be used to correct inefficient operation. The Energy Alarms program described in this presentation is part of an ongoing commissioning program to realize a building’s high performance intent. A case study of the Energy Alarms program will be presented detailing specific results and the process that was used to develop the program. This session will enable attendees to:

Describe the financial and operational benefits of identifying energy waste.
Demonstrate how building automation can be used to implement an ongoing commissioning program.
Identify the typical energy inefficient operations that are most likely occurring in any facility.
Discuss the challenges of identifying energy-related faulty operation.
