Director, TriMedx Foundation
Mary Owens currently leads the foundation's domestic and international health mission partnerships and expanding its donor relationships. Previously, Owens served as the foundation's director of development responsible for events, presentations and fund raising. Owens has a history of working with health service non-profits, where she coordinated program oversight, fund raising activities, and grant proposal writing. Her experience also includes capital campaign director, establishment of an endowment program, and organizational senior leadership.
TriMedx Foundation organizes medical technology missions to repair and install equipment donated to developing countries. The Foundation sends biomedical engineers on mission trips to hospitals serving the very poor in both rural and urban communities internationally, with the long term goal to create sustainable international biomedical programs and educate US hospital staff why and how to make responsible medical equipment donations.
Founded in 2004, the TriMedx Foundation has facilitated the repair and donation of more than $2.5 million worth of equipment to developing countries. And since 2000, TriMedx, its founding company, and the foundation have together participated in more than 84 mission trips. This year, the Foundation has already completed trips to Kenya, Tanzania, Haiti and Honduras.

Rick is the Senior Director of Site Planning an Design at BSA LifeStructures. His responsibilities include the overall site planning, site concept development, site analysis and studies that are necessary with a majority of the projects produced by BSA. Rick is also responsible for coordinating the various state and local reviews and approvals necessary prior to starting project construction.
Rick has been involved in Mission outreach for over 15 years working in Haiti, India and Europe utilizing his training and skills in site engineering as well as providing his leadership by participating as a Board of Director on several mission organizations.
Recently, Rick was elected as the Chairman of the Board for FAME (Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelists) which is a mission organization focused on providing medical supplies, medical teams and healthcare projects to the under served throughout the world, in the name of Christ.

Description
CareLink attempts to find used medical equipment, furniture, and other needed items to give to front-line providors of health care in mission hospitals and clinics around the world. CareLink also leverages relationships with architectural and engineering firms that will provide technical expertise in these remote locations. Learn more about CareLink programs and how your facility/company could make a global impact for positive change. This session will enable attendees to:

Discover how thinking creatively can solving problems when you don't have clean power, air-conditioned environments, etc.
Learn how to implement CareLink as part of a redistribution strategy for retired equipment, furniture, and medical supplies.
