Maintaining patient safety during the expansion and renovation project at the Tampa General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit was absolutely paramount. And that goal became the driving factor behind the development of an application that allowed the project team to remotely monitor noise, negative pressure, and particulate matter at the site. This presentation will address the challenges associated with working in an operational NICU and describe the development and implementation of an innovative monitoring application.
