This session will enable attendees to:
Identify key short and long-term benefits of the design-build project delivery approach.
Understand why the team felt the design-build approach and pursuit for LEED silver would provide the highest level of quality and maximize efficiency.
Comprehend techniques and examples on the design-build approach and lean construction as it relates to schedule, quality, and safety through the utilization of prefabrication and BIM.
Assess the owner and design-build team’s collaboration from concept through completion that resulted in greater communication, cost effective decisions, and shortened project duration.
