Description
Determining the most appropriate way to bill for individual blood products and transfusion services can be complicated, with the introduction of new products and technologies as well as ongoing changes in Medicare policies. This session will provide an overview of inpatient and outpatient billing and review changes in billing for 2013. In addition, speakers will highlight evolving issues relating to billing for molecular testing. Audience members will have the opportunity to practice selecting the appropriate codes for different scenarios and have their billing questions answered.
