Description
In todays highly regulated healthcare environment, attention is directed to doing more with less. Because training and competency assessment are the pinnacles that help drive the compliance success of our establishments, it becomes important to define the learning and knowledge transfer principles upon which these activities are based. Training and competency assessment necessitate a framework for promoting and implementing these activities. This framework can provide a template for the development and implementation of training and competency activities across the different disciplines of our operations. This presentation will explore different structures with the underlying element of a training/competency plan that stresses the commitment and the intent of the organization. The session will also provide a road map to accomplish the implementation of these programs.
