Description
A properly implemented S&OP (sales and operations plan) will strategically align production/collections with anticipated customer needs to ensure a consistent inventory of blood and components. Blood centers must establish inventory management protocols that are agile, flexible and aligned to meet the fluctuations of donor collections. In this session the presenters will discuss the importance of cross-functional integration of the S&OP process to ensure effective inventory management.
