Description
In late 2012, the Cellular Therapy Coding and Labeling Advisory Group (CTCLAG) proposed changes to ISBT 128 terminology for cellular therapy products. This session will explain changes to ISBT 128 terminology for cellular therapies and why these changes are necessary. The specific changes to the ISBT 128 product code database and their potential impact to users will be described. The final presentation will guide participants through selecting the appropriate product codes using the new terminology.
- Examine specific changes to the ISBT 128 product code database.
- Identify changes to ISBT 128 Cellular Therapy terminology and explain the rationale for the changes.
- Select appropriate product codes using the new terminology.
