Description
Critical equipment must operate within defined specifications to ensure the quality of blood components, cellular therapy products, tissue, derivatives and services. The focus of this session will be on the management of critical equipment, such as blood component and cellular therapy product storage, hardware for ISBT 128 labeling and biological safety cabinets. Speakers will discuss the policies, processes and procedures required for critical equipment management in transfusion medicine and cellular therapy laboratories.
