Description
This program will enable participants to hit gold by mining rich sources of data for quality improvement. Most blood banks and transfusion services are familiar with traditional quality data such as deviation data, quality control data or proficiency data. However, todays quality professional can mine data sets for golden opportunities for improvement. This workshop will explore data sets to include after change implementation, productivity metrics, process metrics and efficiency data. Workshop speakers will reveal how to select data sets, apply a variety of analysis tools and present data that lead to improvement. Practical examples of data analysis and how to take action on the information will be provided.
