Curriculum is primarily concerned with what we teach; instruction is primarily concerned with how we teach it. Collecting information about students prior to embarking on a unit of study can provide information about the class as a whole as well as about individual students, thus ensuring effective instruction. During this webinar session, we will explore options---informal to formal--for collecting pre-assessment information in order to inform one’s instructional route.
