As Lasell embarks on aggressive fundraising campaigns, it has become critical to empower Advancement staff to track, manipulate, extract and analyze meaningful data within PowerCAMPUS. At the same time, liberating the IT staff from the increasing demands of daily reporting and data management. The Advancement and IT stakeholders teamed up and employed data policies, developed four data models, trained staff to use ReportBuilder 3.0 reporting software, and developed key strategies for the use of the data within these models. The architecture of these data models was key to this project and planning with the help of an outside consultant was critical to the project.
