Steve Wlodarczyk is a Lead Software Engineer for SunGard Higher Education PowerCAMPUS. Steve has been an employee of SunGard Higher Education for the past seven years. Steve received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Temple University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University. Steve has been in the software industry for over 8 years and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is also a .Net Microsoft Certified Application Developer. Steve is responsible for designing and developing future features and enhancements of the PowerCAMPUS Self-Service product and future research.

Description
This Birds-of-a-Feather session will begin with an overview of the configuration options available in PowerCAMPUS Self-Service, Course Home Pages, and Portal applications. The discussion will include membership and role provider settings and how they work with PowerCAMPUS Self-Service. The importance of Institution, Application, and Payment Processing will be discussed as well. This session will show you the power and ease of configuring PowerCAMPUS Self-Service to work with your existing Active Directory or Sql Server Instance. The Portal and Course Home Pages discussion will cover membership provider and role provider settings that are required to integrate with Self-Service, some specifics about SSO settings, an overview of code access security configuration, SharePoint terminology such as web applications, site collections, and sites, and will touch on the solution deployment framework and its use of SharePoint features. The session will also discuss release and upgrade paths. Please come prepared to ask questions on specific topics.
