The University of Manitoba went live with SunGard Higher Education's Operational Data Store in 2006. We use the ODS as our primary reporting data source. This presentation will discuss how we rolled out the ODS to our clients. It includes an overview our ODS environment, its software and hardware requirements, the security model, customizations we've done to optimize system performance, using the Oracle Warehouse builder to bring in additional data for our reporting requirements, examples of the additional Banner and non Banner data (our legacy data, OCAS, BSAC, HR) we've mapped into the ODS, our set of reporting tools, and training and user group meetings.
