Description
In the last few years, the exploded growth of smartphone use has made them a necessary tool for engaging your constituents. Smartphones have opened the world to enhanced capabilities and connectivity that have created both demand and productivity from useful applications that access resources provided by institutions.
Nowhere is this more prevalent than the campus environment. We have a large mobile constituent base that grew up with mobile devices as their access device of choice to their world. They demand convenient access to campus information and system data from these devices.
To help universities meet this need, SunGard Higher Education offers the Mobile Connection mobile application framework that lowers the complexity of providing multi-device application support as well as provides the necessary infrastructure to allow mobile users to authenticate and access data from our systems.
Come learn about the solution, how clients will be able to use it to rapidly deliver services to students, staff, and alumni on mobile devices, and how you'll be able to leverage the collaborative nature of other higher education institutions that will lead to a similar explosion of growth of "apps" for higher education that happened in the respective "app stores".
